Baby makes four for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton! The couple, who married in 2014, are expecting their second child. The Walking Dead star, 51, revealed the pregnancy news on the Emmy Awards red carpet on Sunday when he adoringly placed his hands on 35-year-old Burton’s baby bump, which was hidden under the billowy detail of her vintage Lanvin gown.
The reveal was made by Morgan himself, who adoringly placed his hand on top of Burton’s baby bump. Even though it was well-disguised underneath a vintage Lanvin gown, Burton is most certainly expecting their second child. Although the couple never really voiced the news out loud, Morgan and Burton kept both their hands on the baby bump the entire time they were posing for photographs.

“The Walking Dead” star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will soon be a real-life, up-all-night zombie: He and wife Hilarie Burton are expecting their second child. Burton recently joked about her husband’s ruthless “Walking Dead” character Negan, and said that having him play such an evil role actually benefited their family at home. “It’s made him good cop at home. He gets all his bad cop stuff out of the way at work and then he comes home and he’s happy dad,” she told Entertainment Tonight in January.

Morgan and Burton started dating in 2009, and welcomed their first child, son Augustus, the next year. The actor told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in 2015 that he considers Burton his wife, although they have yet to legally marry. “I’m not technically married yet but we say we are and eventually we will be,” he said. “I can’t stop working is the problem. So it’s hard to seal that deal.”
